aqsis - renderer from Aqsis Renderer, a 3D rendering solution adhering to the RenderMan(R) standard.

atscc is a frontend to the atsopt Anairiats compiler for the ATS language.

Confluence is a functional programming language for reactive system design, including digital logic systems (ASIC, FPGA) and control oriented hard real-time software. The Confluence compiler (cf) translates a Confluence description into Verilog and VHDL (for digital logic synthesis), C (for simulation and software targets), and NuSMV (for formal verification, via model checking).

Context Free is a system that produces images based on context-free grammars.

fauhdlc is a VHDL compiler, that will output intermediate code or C-code. It supports a subset of the VHDL 2000 standard.

GCC stands for "GNU Compiler Collection". GCC is an integrated distribution of compilers for several major programming languages. These languages currently include C, C++, Objective-C, Objective-C++, Java, Fortran, Ada, D and Go.

Gri is an extensible plotting language designed for scientists. It can draw x-y plots, contour plots, and image plots, and has rudimentary programming capabilities. It is not mouse driven, nor gui-based; rather, it is an interpreted scriping language. Users regard it as an analogue to the latex document formatting language: users gain considerable power, at the price of a moderate learning curve.

iverilog is a compiler that translates Verilog source code into executable programs for simulation, or other netlist formats for further processing. The currently supported targets are vvp for simulation, and fpga for synthesis. Other target types are added as code generators are implemented.

openscad is a software for creating solid 3D CAD objects. It focuses on CAD aspects rather than artistic ones.

POV-Ray is a free, full-featured ray tracer

Verilator converts synthesizable (not behavioral) Verilog code, plus some Synthesis, SystemVerilog and a small subset of Verilog AMS assertions, into C++, SystemC or SystemPerl code. It is not a complete simulator, just a compiler.
